I serve a volleyball at a 730 angle with the horizontal, and an initial speed of 5.6 feet per second. What is the component form of the velocity? Please round to three decimal places out from the zero.

let v be the velocity of the volleyball.

The direction angle is 730 degree.

The magnitude of the vector v is the initial speed of the ball =5.6 feet per second.

The horizontal component of velocity v
= 5.6*cos(730) = 5.5149

The Vertical component of velocity v
=5.6*sin(730)=0.97

Thus the Component form of the velocity is

v=(5.6*cos(730^\circ ),5.6*sin(730^\circ ))

v=(5.51,0.97)
