In this sentence should there be an apostrophe on chromebooks to show possession?

Everyone should bring their chromebooks on the second day of school.

Answer:

No

Step-by-step explanation:

The word "their" already shows possession so you don't need to have an apostrophe. Even if there wasn't a "their" it would say something like Everyone's chromebook with the apostrophe being on the person or thing in possession of it.

No, there should not. That would not make sense. Can’t explain very well, sorry, but adding an apostrophe would mean that the Chromebook has something.
