On June 28,1914 Archduke Franz Ferdinand was an heir to the Austro-Hungarian Empire. However he was shot to death with his wife by an Bosnian Serb nationalist Gavrilo Princip in Sarajevo. Austria-Hungary blamed the Serbian government for the attack. But Russia was on Serbian's side. It eventually lead to world war 1
