Yes, A is correct

1 = (2 * 1 - 1)^(2) \\ 9 = (2 * 2 - 1)^(2)
etc.

The sequence is all perfect squares so without thinking too hard only choice A gives a sequence of perfect squares.


Looking a little harder those are perfect squares of the odd numbers, which is what choice A is as well.
