In order to find the amount Toby has to pay we simply need to multiply the price of the product times 0.07.

We do this to determine the sales tax and that is how we calculate the final amount.

Let's start.

45.50 * 0.07 = 3.185

3.185
`\rightarrow` 3.19

We add this amount on the total amount.

`45.50 + 3.19 = 48.69`

Toby would need to pay $48.69.
