It just happens that tan 14 degrees is about 0.25 or 1/4. According to my calculator, it's actaull 0.249.


Now try finding tan 76 degrees to approx. the same level of accuracy.


tan 76 deg = (via calculator) 4.0108. this could be re-written as 4 or 4.1.
