Rewrite 4x^2-3x+9=2x+1 as 4x^2-5x+8 = 0

Here, a = 4, b = -5 and c = 8. Then,

5 plus or minus sqrt (25 -4(4)(8) )

x = ------------------------------------------------------

8

5 plus or minus sqrt (-103)

= --------------------------------------

8

5 plus or minus i*sqrt(103)

Then x = ----------------------------------------

8

= ---------------------------------------------

8

= ----------------------------
