Slope = (y2-y1)/(x2 - x1)

Slope = (9 - 6)/(-3- (-9)) = 3/6 = 1/2

Answer: 1/2

Hey!

The formula for finding slope is:
\frac {y_2-y_1} {x_2-x_1} or
(difference\ in\ y)/(difference\ in\ x )

y₂ = 9

y₁ = 6

9 - 6 = 3

x₂ = -3

x₁ = -9

(-9) - (-3) = 6

That gives you: 3/6 = -1/2
