What is desalination? In a short paragraph, describe the benefits of desalination as a resolution to water crises in the Middle East. What are the drawbacks of this system?

Answer:

Desalination is like filtering, it is the process of turning salt water in normal drinkable water. Desalination helps middle east countries find a realiable drinking source...Altough it has many advanteges, desalination is a really expensive process that is unaffordable in some countries. It is still a developing process, so it's not yet reliable.

The benefits of Desalination. One of the benefits is that we able to use the earth's abundant salt water supply. Meaning that the salt water could be purified of salt, and distributed to the places that need it. One of the drawbacks is that not much water is left after the process.
