The time (t) required to finish a certain job is inversely

proportional to the number of persons (p) on the job. If 10
persons can finish the job in 6 hours, how long will it take
for 30 persons to finish the job?

18 hours

Explanation:

6/10=0.6 hours (one person takes 0.6 hour)

0.6×30=18 hours

or another way 10 is 1/3 of 30. so

6:1/3=18
