If the area of a rectangle can be calculated by multiplying the width of the room by the length of the room which equation can be used to calculate the area

Is this a multiple-choice question? I don't see any variables defined to represent length, width, and area.


Using A = area, l = length, w = width, a formula for area would be A = lw.


Some writers use b = base for the length and h = height for the width, in which case A = bh.
