I would say “A” because if you look at a topographical map of Spain the mountains of the Pyrenees completely cuts Spain off of the rest of Europe besides a small entrance which the Spanish could easily guard. The topography also indicates that it would be easy for ships to make landing. So I would say A is the correct answer.
