A point having a negative abscissa and negative ordinate is in Quadrant III. In other words, 3.

Quadrant 1 or I = (+, +)

Quadrant 2 or II = (-, +)

Quadrant 3 or III = (-, -)

Quadrant 4 or IV = (+, -)

The abscissa is always going to be the first number (or x value) in an ordered pair.

The ordinate is always going to be the second number (or y value) in an ordered pair.

Hope this answer was helpful for everyone!! :)

Hope you all have a great day!! :)

A negative abscissa would be a negative X value and a negative ordinate would be a negative Y value.

When both values are negative, it would be located in the 3rd quadrant.

The answer is 3. 3
