We then have the following relationship:

(x)/(y) = (2)/(16)
For 4 apples we have:
(x)/(4) = (2)/(16)
From here, we clear the value of x.
We have then:

x = 4 (2)/(16)

x= (8)/(16)

x= (1)/(2)
