x = 90 since the line is a straight angle and one angle is 90 so 180-90=90

As you can see, the angles are congruent. These kin of angles are called vertical angles.

Vertical angles are angles opposite of each other. They always measure the same.

In this pair of vertical angles, one angle is 90°. That means the other angle is also 90°.
