you need to use the distance formula which is √(x2-x1)^2+(Y2-y1)^2

Answer:

False

Explanation:

Given that a quadrilateral with the following vertices

(-6, -2), (4, -2), (2, -5), (-7, -5)

To check whether it is a paallelogram

We find the mid point of the two diagonals.

(-6,-2) (2,-5) has mid point as (-2, -3.5)

The other pair (4,-2) and (-7,-5) has midpoint as -1.5, -3.5)

Since diagonals do not bisect each other this is not a parallelogram

But AB and CD have the same slope as 0

Hence this is a trapezium
