Algebra Solve for x 5(x-10)=30-15x
5(x−10)=30−15x5(x-10)=30-15x

Simplify the left side.

5x−50=30−15x
5x-50=30-15x

Move all terms containing xx to the left side of the equation.

20x−50=30
20x-50=30

Move all terms not containing xx to the right side of the equation.
20x=80
20x=80

Divide each term by 2020 and simplify.

x=4

Hi there!

Simplify th' Eqⁿ :-

5 (x - 10) = 30 - 15x

⇒ 5x - 50 = 30 - 15x

⇒ 5x + 15x = 30 + 50

⇒ 20x = 80

⇒ x =
\frac {80}{20} = 4

Hence,
The required answer is. x = 4
