Protracted and bloody conflicts
The actions of Native Americans in Pontiac's Rebellion suggested that further colonial expansion would result in extended and bloody conflicts. Although the Native Americans were unable to drive away the colonialists, the rebellion was bloody and resulted in a large loss of lives
