What did Nelson Mandela do to be considered a hero? In your answer, list at least three actions and briefly explain the effects. You might need to locate outside sources to answer this question. Be sure to list the sources that you consulted during your research.

Nelson Mandela was a Civil Rights activist, who fought against a system where whites and non-whites were segregated and did not have equal rights. Please ask if there is any more questions. :)
