DSM is a Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
DSM-5 is the fifth edition of the DSM which uses the categorical approach for the diagnosis of personality disorders.
The fact that there are no accurate ways of assessing personality disorders, so it is always a "best guess" and never has any true validity is not a reason why the current DSM-5 method of categorizing personality disorders has been criticized.
