The area of the base of a rectangular tank is 3,000 square inches, and the volume of the tank is 324,000 cubic inches. find the height of the tank in feet.

therefore l × b = 3000in²

volume of the rectangular tank = 324000in³

==> l × b × h = 324000in³

==> 3000 × h = 324000in³

==> h = 324000/3000

==> h = 108in

hence, the height of the rectangular tank is 108in.
