What is the slope of the line represented by the equation y = x – 3?

Hello!

As you can see the slope isn't always visible. This equation could also be written as seen below.

y=1x-3

As you can see, x is the same as 1x, so therefore the slope is 1.

I hope this helps!

The slope is 1 so you must start the graph from y intercept -3 so mark point at -3 of y intercept and then go up one and move one to right. Then you will get your graph.
