Describe the characteristics of a unicellular organism

1 Answer

1 vote

Unicellular organisms are composed of a single cell, unlike multi cellular organisms that are made of many cells. This means that they each live and carry out all of their life processes as one single cell. In a unicellular organism, oxygen passes through the cell membrane, by diffusion. Carbon dioxide has the same process.
