How is your likelihood of abusing alcohol affected by having peers and family? members who drink

Very likely because if your family drinks alcohol then it will always be around you and in your fridge so you will always have the temptation to try it just once or you might think that it is just fine when it is not so if you have family members or friends it is very likely that you could abuse alcohol.

Hope This helps
