A) 12x + 15y = 34

B) -6x + 5y = 3 Multiplying B) by -3

B) 18x -15y = -9 Then adding this to A) equals
30x = 25
x = 0.8333333333...

A) 12x + 15y = 34

12 * 0.8333333333... + 15y = 34

10 + 15y = 34
15y = 24
y = 1.6
