That can be written into a usable mathematical equation. "is" means equals and the word "of" here means to multiply. Therefore, our equation, using the decimal form of the percentage, is x = .24(82). Multiply that to find x = 19.68

Hey there! :)
You have to change 24% to a decimal and multiply by 82 to get the answer.
24% = 0.24
0.24 × 82 = 19.68
Your answer ⇒ 19.68
Hope this helps
