The Chinese Government recently revised their nation's history curriculum by declaring that the Chinese Communist Party played a fundamental role in the World War II victory, defeating Japan. It made no mention of the 30 million Chinese who died under the communist revolutionary Mao Zedong's program known as the Great Leap Forward.
