C. Is the answer I had got the correct one on. Elenita dresses in a way that her mother disapproves of. Elena's mother is unsympathetic when she discovers Elena is interested in the boy next door.

The correct answer is C. Elenita dresses in a way that her mother disapproves of. Elena's mother is unsympathetic when she discovers Elena is interested in the boy next door. There is no much positive interaction between the mother and daughter. Elena has to face her mother's incessant warnings about the need to protect her "virtue" and "morality".
