The Mughal Empire was an empire that ruled over the Indian subcontinent. It lasted from 1526 to 1857. The culture that predominated within the empire's territories was Indo-Persian.

On the other hand, the Ottoman Empire was at the crossroads between Europe and Asia. The empire lasted from 1299 to 1920. At its peak, controlled more than 75% of the Mediterranean Sea.

The major difference between both empires was that while the Mughal Empire was a monocultural empire. The extension of the ottoman made it a pluricultural empire. As it controlled part of Asia, as well as the Vulcans and Eastern Europe.
