The main criticism is that they build platforms based on single issues

Most of third party candidates such as green party bases their campaign on one issue. The green party focus mainly is environmental issues. Besides the issue being of paramount importance, such a political stand on a single issue do not identify completely with the masses because at any time the populace have a myriad of issues affecting it.
