The correct answer is A) Superior military leaders.

After seven states seceded from the Union and formed the Confederate States of America, it was only a matter of time before conflict arose between the two. Even though the North had several advantages, one advantage they did not have was superior military leaders. Leaders like Robert E. Lee were well respected and qualified individuals to run the Confederate Army. On the other hand, Lincoln's first appointment, George B McClellan, was highly unsuccessful. This shows that superior military leaders was not an advantage for the North.
