How do I solve (2n + 2)(6n + 1)

use the foil method and distribute,
FOIL; F:first O:outsideI:inside L:last
that is the order you would distribute.
2n*6n which gives you 12n then 2n*1 is 2n then distribute the second term
2*6n and 2*1
