The answer is "Analytical intelligence ".

Analytical intelligence refers to the what you most likely envision it is - the unadulterated intellectual competence with which you process data. It is summoned when you have to examine something or take care of issues. This is the sort of braininess estimated by IQ tests, which in Sternberg's view are woefully lacking in deciding somebody's general knowledge as they concentrate just on the investigative side.
