The current equation is stating that the value of 92 multiplied by the value of p equals the value of 98. To find the value of p alone, divide both sides of the equation by the value of 92. Since 92 and 98 are like terms (they both do not have variables attached), we can simplify the fraction. The simplified fraction on the right side of the equation shown below will be your final answer, and value of p.

92p = 98
p = 98/92 = 49/46

Hey there! :)

If you switch it around, it becomes: 98 ÷ 92 = p
(Remember that the sign changes when you move it)

98 ÷ 92 = 1.07(rounded)

p = 1.07

Hope this helps :)
