How was rosa parks bus ride important to thr civil rights movement

I read into this on Wikipedia, and it appears her bus ride was important because although she was not the first to resist bus segregation, her case drew attention and ‘inspired the black community to boycott the Montgomery buses’. She ‘became an icon of resistance to racial segregation’ and, as you can read in the following link, went on to do many other things in the fight against segregation.

It’s was important because she made the world and African Americans amble to ride and sit anywhere on the bus , it took some time but she made it happen because everyone is equal and should be treated that way.
