Fibrinogen is a protein in which are being produced by platelets in means of helping to form blood to be clotted. One example of this as to why it is considered to be important is because when an individual were to have a wound, the blood is being produced and a way for a person to prevent itself from producing more blood to go to waste, the platelets will produce fibrinogen in which the fibrinogen will function, stopping the blood to come out as it clots the blood.
