An intergovernmental organization, IGO is something that was created by treaty involving two or more nations. The international government, intergovernmental organization, will handle the organizational needs in this situation. A non-governmental organization referred to as NGO's are non-profit by nature and sometimes international organizations that are separated from international government organizations that are funded by the government.
