1. How many solutions does the following equation have?

2x^2-3x+5

2. Suppose you want to figure out how much bacteria exists on a leftover slice of pizza. You know that there are 5 bacteria and they are doubling every 3 hours. How many bacteria will you have after 9 hours? (Hint: divide 9 by 3 for your x value)

5*2 is 10
10 *2 is 20
20*2 is 40
40*2 is 80
80 *2 is 160
That's five hours
160*2 is 320
320*2 is 640
640*2 is 1280
1280*2 is 2560
The answer should be 2560
