Hello.

The king and queen thought Cloumbus route was wrong and he wouldnt be able to reach Asia.

But, he went anyways to make a profit because he was is in a fancial ompensation.

Explorer Christopher Columbus received the patronage of the Kings of Spain, Ferdinand of Aragon and Isabella the Castille. They trusted Columbus to find a new route to the Indies. However, Columbus ended up getting in the Americas. Columbus officially discovered the Americas on October 12, 1492.
