How did U.S. entry into WW1 on the Western Front turn the tide of the war in favor of the Triple Entente/ Allied Powers (France, Great Britain?)

Answer:

U. S. entry tipped the balance of the war (especially after 1916 and 1917s' horrible losses on both fronts) in favor of the Allied Powers. The Germans underestimated the U. S. and were at a disadvantage.
