Pollution started to become a problem when it grew in numbers and began killing animals and the environment.

Originally, humans had no care about pollution as it didn’t effect them or their daily lives. However, it soon began to once it caused global warming, unbreathable aid and death among native species - soon causing them to become extinct.

Therefore, pollution became a problem once it started to affect humans.

Hope this helps!
