product? prodcut?

Mult. these 2 binomials together, using the so-called FOIL method:

6b^2 + 4bc + 3bc + 2c^2

simplify: 6b^2 + 7bc + 2c^2 (ans)

Use distributive property:

(a + b)(c + d) = ac + ad + bc + cd

(2b+c)(3b+2c)=(2b)(3b)+(2b)(2c)+(c)(3b)+(c)(2c)\\\\=6b^2+4bc+3bc+2c^2=6b^2+7bc+2c^2
