What is the solution to the linear equation 2.8y+6+0.02y=5y-14

Group all the 'y' terms on the left and all the other terms on the right:

2.8y+6+0.02y=5y-14 => y(2.8+0.02-5)=-14-6

Now add up 2.8, 0.02 and -5; then combine -14 and -6. Can you now solve for y?
