Answer: DO (Direct Object)

Explanation: I just did the lesson that has this question on it and I got it correct.

I don't know what the person above me was trying to do, but all they did was answer a question with a different question on the lesson.

I have seen this question before this was how the sentence was written...
The chairman heard what was said about the program. The items in bold are "DO". Hope this helped!
