The Garden of Forks is a book written by Jorge Luis Borges about a spy named Dr. Yu Tsun who narrated why a British offensive against the Germans had to be deferred by thirteen days. Thus, time is thought to be the central theme in the book. Fellow spy Stephen Albert also tackles the forking paths. He proceeded to explain that there is a splitting of two possible, inevitable outcomes for every point in time.Tsun has succeeded in his mission by killing Albert, getting the murder published, sending his intel to his boss The Chief. However, he was also arrested. Time has been focused on this book as it showed the forking paths--Tsu accomplishing his duty and getting arrested.
