Your answer would be, The Due Process Clause of the 14th., and 5th. Amendments differ in.....

The Clause in the 14th. Amendment has been interpreted, to mean that State Government must provide some of the protections within the Bill of Rights.

Your answer would be, The Clause in the 5th. Amendment was specifically written to restrict a new powerful government.

Hope that helps!!!

Both the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments of the United States contain a Due Process Clause. While The Fifth Amendment describes a legal obligation of the federal government to not deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law, the Fourteenth Amendment applies the same obligation to the states to guarantee that all of the states provide fair procedures as well.
