2x+ (2)/(y)=4w+2

Our goal is to isolate x.

First we subtract
(2)/(y) on both sides of the equation.

2x=4w+2- (2)/(y)

Then divide 2 on both sides.

2x= 4wy+2y-2

Then divide 2 on both sides.

x= (2wy+y-1)/(y)
