John Locke mainly propagated the idea of liberties and freedoms. he maintained that during the social contract, the people did not hand over their natural rights to the leviathan or the government. John Locke ideas served to fuel revolutions across Europe all the way to the Americas where he served as the inspiration for the American Independent movement, and the declaration for independence.
