A diagonal of a parallelogram is 50 inches long and makes angles of 37.1° and 49.2° with the sides. Solve for the longest side of the parallelogram.

One angle of parallelogram = 37.1 + 49.2 = 86.3
Other angle on same line = 180 - 86.3 = 93.70

Applying the Sine Rule to triangle containing 93.7 degrees:-
50 / sin 93.7 = x / sin 49.2 where x is the longest side

x = 37.93 ins to nearest hundredth (answer)
