It was Julius Ceasar's death that led to the rise of Augustus who established the Roman Empire. The peace was known as Pax Romana.

It is also known as Pax Augusta often depending on the sources. This was after the tyranny of Caesar which ended the period of political instability and the infighting of senate members and various other important figures such as military generals.
